Trade Bouncer is built to stay on your computer. It does not read your trades, your balance or your positions, and nothing about how you trade reaches us. This page lists every piece of personal data we do hold, which is a short list.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no third-party font and no advertising network on it. The one exception is the checkout page, which loads Paddle’s payment form — that is described below.
Who is responsible
The controller for this data is Quanticon Group s. r. o., Lermontovova 3, 811 05 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID 47429500. You can reach us at office at tradebouncer.com or through the form on the front page.
What we collect, and why
If you write to us through the form
We store what you typed and a little about the request:
- your email address, so we can answer;
- your name and message, if you filled them in — both are optional;
- the IP address the request came from and which page it was sent from, plus the time.
The first two are there to answer your question and, if it leads to one, to prepare a sale (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before a contract). The IP address is kept to stop the form being abused — it is what limits one sender to five messages an hour (Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a form that still works when somebody points a script at it).
If you subscribe
Your payment details never reach us. Paddle takes the payment as merchant of record; your card number, billing address and tax details are handled by them and are not passed to us. From a completed purchase we receive and store:
- your email address, so your licence key can be sent to you;
- Paddle’s customer and subscription identifiers, so that a later cancellation or renewal can be matched to your licence;
- the licence key we issue, with its plan and the date.
All of it is needed to give you what you paid for (Article 6(1)(b)).
While the software is running
Trade Bouncer checks periodically that your subscription is still active. Each check sends, and we store:
- your licence key;
- a one-way fingerprint of the computer. Windows gives every machine an installation identifier; we hash it, and what reaches us cannot be turned back into it. It exists so that two machines sharing one licence are visible to us — a trader with a desktop and a laptop is a customer, not a problem, and we would rather see that than prevent it;
- the IP address of the check and the time.
No trading data is sent. Your rules, your account number, your broker, your positions, your balance and your results stay on your computer. The server is told a licence key and answers yes or no; it is never told what you are trading.
Who else sees it
We sell nothing to anybody and share nothing for advertising. Three companies process data on our behalf, each for one job:
- Akamai (Linode) — our server, which is physically in Frankfurt, Germany. All of the data above is stored there.
- Mailjet (Mailjet SAS, France) — sends your licence key and our replies. They see the recipient address and the message. Their servers are in the EU.
- Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd, United Kingdom) — the seller of record. They are a controller in their own right for the payment, under their own privacy policy. The United Kingdom has an EU adequacy decision, so no further transfer safeguards are needed.
We will disclose data if a court or a law obliges us to, and we will tell you when we are permitted to.
The checkout page
checkout.html is the only page here that loads anything from somewhere else: Paddle’s payment form, which needs its own scripts to work and which may set cookies of its own while you are paying. Everything on that page is governed by Paddle’s privacy policy, linked above. The rest of this website loads nothing but its own files.
How long we keep it
- Licence and subscription records stay while your subscription runs and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires them — in Slovakia, ten years.
- Check-in records are kept while the licence is live, so that a support question about a machine can be answered.
- Messages from the form are kept so we know what was asked and what was promised. We do not delete them on a schedule; ask and we will remove yours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to office at tradebouncer.com and we will answer within a month.
Asking us to erase everything will end your subscription, since the licence cannot work without a record of it. We may have to keep invoicing records for the tax period even then.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Slovak supervisory authority, the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk), or to the authority where you live.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. Where the change matters to you we will say so by email rather than leaving you to notice.
